my brother , my whanau

my brother , my whanau
friends we started out, brothers we became.
as things changed whanau we became.
through the good times we laughed and loved,
joy we shared.
through the bad we loved and fought.
hurtful things done and said.
through it all whanau we stayed, whanau to the end.
buy our sides we will stay through it all.
whanau to the end we will stay, to death and beyond.
a bond we share, whanau we will stay.
