The Seeker

Man wished he could know
who could ever love him so,
that turmoil be set at peace,
that old hurt be given release.

He wished he could hear
harmony's tune in his ear,
tender hand to wipe tears away,
loving voice to invite him to stay.

He wished he could feel
new vibrations, and heal
covered wounds, hidden pain,
put new blood in his vein.

Two candles-- lit in the dark,
two lights --united with spark,
sunset rays, caressing with care,
silver dusk gently peeks through the air.

Let God be man's peace -- to deliver him,
from guilt and disease, to set him free.

Let Life awake man's buried hope,
to open the tomb and lit the road.

Let Love alone be man's best friend,
his life to renew, his brokenness mend.
