The Journey To The Truth

If you keep building your walls
I will never be able to see your face again
But if you need too
 I will understand
I just can’t stand on the other side anymore
When I feel what I feel
If we can’t break down these walls together
Maybe we were never meant to be
This isn’t normal because I believe the opposite
it never was and maybe never will be
At least now I know the truth
The truth is all I asked for from you
but now that I know the truth
maybe I just can’t be around anymore
Only because it kills me
It would kill me to leave you
But I have to in order to stand this feeling of being alone
The feeling I’m used too
Except you seemed to make me think different
I thought we were always something else
but the truth isn’t what I expected me to hear
Just don’t leave me now
It was never supposed to end like this
Yet here we are today
We who have grown so distant from each other
Because we don’t know who we are really are
But we know who we are when we are together
Why was it so simple when we were together
We always had each others back
When it was just me and you
You break my heart whenever I see you
But it doesn’t hurt me anymore
Because seeing you smile is all I need to be happy
Happiness will take me far in life
Except it doesn’t matter how far i get in life
If you aren’t with me
I fell in love with you and I don’t regret that decision ever
It was the best feeling I could have ever ask god for
You were something that meant a lot to me only now it is gone
Just dont say bye or let me go
It will kill me to say goodbye to you
You were always the one to build me up
And here i am still standing tall looking for an answer
Here I am looking at you everyday
Wondering if you finally realized it or
Will it be too late when you do
It will never be too late for me to accept true love
