Africa'S [plight and assurance

Large in population
Diverse in culture
Are we African's
Loving and caring
Were we African's

The Africa I knew
Is now the Africa in news
Africa of ancient times
Africa of whom I hailed
Africa of proud warriors

Africa! Nature's beauty
Africa of great harmony
Of might untold
A home of surplus
With Kings, Queens and great men we dine

We are falling!
Why? oh! Why Africa
Has hatred crept?
And dwelt amongst thy soil
Africa tell me

Why all these killings?
Why make corruption a citizen?
He has ruined us
So many destruction
In a blessed land

Africa of blessed vegetation
Now it's ancient orientation neglect
Leaving to waste the womb of our ancestral mother
Which she left behind
What is fishing? And where?

Africa of peace once glorious
why shattereth thy glory amongst thorns
So many deceptions
So many misfortunes
In a blessed land

Bother not, Africa
For aback shall you be taken
Aback again I say
At what ye shall behold
In time to come
