We Are The Lord's

we each embark on a journey that leads to heaven as your home
like a lost seagull in the barren sea
my prayer is for inner peace
it starts in the one willing to believe
it reaches to the throne of heaven's door
lest i implore another open door
yet today we have saits turning into sinners
just call me late for dinner
we need to be forgiven inside
don't try to run away & hide
into a world that lives by sight
having long viscous fangs that bite
We are the lord's you understand
the world will try to twist your words as if you haven't heard
 they seek self to please
never getting down on there knees
just want to see you bleed
 everyday is a struggle
some make the Martini strong like a double
the world today is nothing but trouble
instead lets look away from the walking dead
what's going on inside are head
the Lord will come back with a shout
then the dead in Christ will rise first
now I thirst for the knowledge of the truth
taking in one day at a time
 breaking evil forces that bind
don't stop until we reach heavens door lest I implore
 another sacred open door
 but for what ?
