Sister aloysius from dungiven

There are persons who are true
Followers of the Christian Faith
To the extent that their lives
Concur, almost, with the
Commitment of Jesus.
~
Numbers unknown but their
Existence has prevailed since
Jesus offered himself as the
Bread of Life and died for our
Salvation on a Cross at Calvary.
~
While the Church of Christ has
Officially conferred ‘sainthood’
Upon many those not granted
Are nevertheless ‘saints’ on the
Basis of their faith and lives…
~
And there is one of the latter of
Whom I have in mind called Sister
Aloysius Mc Veigh from the town
Of Dungiven in Ireland alongside
A river known as the Roe.
~
As a Christian Sr.Aloysius was ‘a-
One’ and her life shared this reality
Along with the fact that as an artist
She was honoured and considered
By many as one of the world’s best.
~
So great that her images leads the
Viewer into the mystical reality of
Jesus, the Son of God, becoming a
Man through our Mother Mary by
The loving grace of their Holy Spirit.
~
Yes, there are many who confirms
The holiness of this Mercy Nun and
I would not be surprised that one or
Some would initiate and pursue an act
Of Sainthood by the Church she loved.
~
Oh, Sister Aloysius, we thank Our Creator
For the gift of your person bearing in mind
That He was an Artist who composed all of
Existence by an eternal brush or chisel…
Artistic tools well known to you, Aloysius.
