Bulb Photography (Seven Capricious Hours)

Bulb Photography (Seven Capricious Hours)
By Xiaoyuan Yin

【Streams】
Just wait for the marshmallow to melt…
Foggy murmurs, derive from retrograde of its shimmering fibers
While gutted and cleansed body of water, suede-soft, close to 0°C, is frothing lilac silk
(Waves have been appeased by time itself. Soaked evenly in pearly luster, it becomes a jelly where algae are locked in)

【Expose the streams to light now】
They MIX. The coloration of liquids is a process with heat release
Dye the haze and make it full-bodied, somewhat satiny
And a little more showy and sensual. Here are cyan and royal green…
Neon-lit switchback roads running zigzag afar--
They have formed the leaf veins of earth

(Maybe you were seeking for streaks of meteors or fireworks at first)

【Wash out all but light within one certain speed interval】
Sweep off those shadows passing by so swift, those bouncing, twirling, shifting ones…
Abandon the habit of haste. Those words, when you heard them, were right there in the wind, tinkling
Like a mouthful of smoke lingering around. Before you remember to stop for the latter half of the sentence
You have stepped out of bounds.
