Bubble Gum and Poetry

Sonia Walker

When in a creative mood,
I chew bubble gum while
sitting in front of the computer,
blowing big bubbles until they pop,
pink goo all over my nose and mouth,
sticky thoughts escape from the
over-chewed and stale cocoon of
hour's old sweetness.
