Hurts The Most

What hurts the most is the rose of a smile,
You built upon your face that hide your hurt
What hurts the most is you
Stepping on thorns of the roses to survive
You're teaching yourself... how to fly with a rope tied around your neck
Staring at a blank wall,
Just to see if your blood will soon be splashed on it to paint a flower
What hurts the most is you
Grasping for air while you drown your sorrow
Words, don't make you feel better.
While everyone else still have the nerve,
To remove this smile you planted on yourself
You see yourself...
With a frown in the mirror
The devil next to you.
You trade your happiness
To the trade marketers all for a cold shallow frown
Your last tear will be drawn on your face
What hurts the most
You're walking in everyone else's shadows to be protected
You wish  upon a star that mentors your pain
You  saved the lives of many,
You take their burdens and pain in like family
What they don't know....
Is that  you were always flying with the rope around your neck.
