See Bio: 'Dreaming

Dreaming'

A landlubber I am,
Am I forever to be
I hope and pray it not be so,
For I'd love to go to sea,

Sail upon the stormy waves,
Hear their ceaseless din,
Visit far-off storied ports,
Made famous by romance and sin.

Oh!, How I hope my dream will last,
'cause my Gran-Pa told me, his old Dad.
Spent many years before the mast.

So, I sit now in my lazy chair,
To ponder and to dream.
I follow  the smoke from my cheroot,
Float up to the yonder beam.

I envision myself in the foc'sle,
or near the helmsman aft.
Listening,  to the sighing winds,
As through the sails they waft:
