Il tète avec avidité
Et se cogne au sein qu’il enlace ;
Puis, lorsque sa nourrice est lasse,
Il dort sur son ventre ouaté.

Pour le minet doux et futé
C’est un lit que rien ne remplace !
Il tète avec avidité

Quand il s’est bien lissé, gratté,
Pris la queue et vu dans la glace,
Après ses tournements sur place
Et ses petits sauts de côté,
Il tète avec avidité.
