La Petite Gardeuse d'oies

Maurice Rollinat 1846 (Châteauroux) – 1903 (Ivry-sur-Seine)

Ma petite gardeuse d’oies,
Par les prés et les chemins creux,
Tu redis ton branle amoureux
Aux buissons verts que tu coudoies.

Tu vas éparpillant tes joies
Sur l’herbe et les talus pierreux,
Ma petite gardeuse d’oies,
Par les prés et les chemins creux ;

Et sans penser qu’un jour leurs foies
Feront des pâtés savoureux,
Tu suis tes gros jars bienheureux,
Car jamais tu ne les rudoies,
Ma petite gardeuse d’oies.
