Where Is That Real Love?

Where is the love that feels like the earth?

A love that’s planted deep, that proves its worth.

A love that ignites like stars burning bright,
Endless and fierce, where hearts take flight.

I watched my parents make marriage look effortless,

Through storms, through fire, they stood relentless.

They built a fortress with nothing to fear,

A love unshakable, always sincere.

Where is that love where a man honors his queen,

Like the sun kisses the Earth, bold and serene?

Where is that love where we don’t run from the flames,

Where loyalty is sacred, and never a game?

Our generation is lost, drowning in the fake,
Playing with hearts like it's all just a stake.
We chase after lust, the thrill, the chase,
Forgetting that love grows at its own pace.

We lust for the fleeting, the easy, the fast,

But true love is carved—etched in the past.

Where is that love, where we fight for each other?

Where’s the loyalty that outshines any other?

Where is that love? I still haven’t found it,

But I’ll never quit. I won’t live without it.

I’m still searching, still yearning for the one,

The love that’s patient, that’s slow, that’s undone.

I want that love that won’t die in the storm,

The kind that’s steady, that keeps me warm.

The love that’s real, that’s wild and true,

The kind of love that never, ever moves.
