Lions

Lions

The danger
Is not in the sound
But the intent
The cry
To clear the debris
From the
Forest of deception
Where the indigent dream
Where children are
trafficked
Lost
in the dark
hiding in the sunlight
Abandoned by
justice
For fear of
the roar
Of their misunderstood
Fearless
protector

This poem is really powerful. It's saying that what seems scary on the surface might not be the real problem. It's highlighting some really important issues, like child trafficking and how the system fails to protect people. The 'Fearless protector' is a symbol of those who bravely fight for what's right, even if they're misunderstood. Nice one
