Our Generation

Lost in the noise, we search for meaning,
Chasing what's fleeting, always dreaming.
We want it all, yet don’t know what’s true,
Caught in the middle, unsure what to do.

But some of us still hold the line,
Loyalty, love, and values that shine.
In a world confused, we stand tall,
Hoping to rise, beyond it all.

About this poem

This poem reflects the confusion and uncertainty of our generation, caught between fleeting desires and a longing for meaning. Despite the chaos, there’s a glimmer of hope for those who still hold onto loyalty, love, and values in a world that sometimes feels lost.

Wow! Solid poetic and informative lines applicable to the present scenario of the world full of humdrum and Chaos. The search for meaning of life and hankering after materialistic world foster to create jeopardized environment where our present generations are suffering from frustration and insecurity. There is little practices of spirituality, intellectual property and cultural upliftment.
I hope thine lyrics pass a moral thought by scattering the seed of philanthropy, brotherhood and humanity to refine and establish a harmonious environment.
    Congratulations ma'am.

A thoughtful take on finding clarity in the chaos. I like the hopeful touch at the end.
