E-friend

Friend in need is a friend indeed
Rowing boat or the sinful deed

Ink lashes and a fouling smell
Either heaven, either hell

Not anymore, not any scary
Don't call my friend a fancy fairy!

About this poem

"E-friend" is a playful yet thought-provoking poem that critiques the idea of superficial or insincere friendships. Through sharp contrasts and humorous language, it questions the nature of modern relationships, suggesting that true friendship transcends mere appearances or fleeting gestures. The poem highlights the complexity of human connections in a world where authenticity is sometimes lost.
