Please stay.

Please stay.

I still cry out for you.

See the stars in the dead of night could you be my lover and make things right.

Like a bird way up high in the sky could you even try?

I'm still in love with you that I know is true.

All my life I waited for you for someone as beautiful as you.

I will forever wait for that one date.

I will always keep the faith.

Till the stars fall from the sky.

I will always want to be by your side till the end of time.

I will forever wish you were mine.

I'm still in love with you and I still cry. But I will never give up and hide to have you by my side.

Wow, Alan! Your poem "Please Stay" is truly a heartfelt expression of love and longing. The imagery you've crafted, from the stars in the dead of night to the bird soaring high in the sky, paints a vivid picture of your emotions. Your use of repetition reinforces the depth of your feelings, making it resonate with anyone who has ever experienced love's complexities.

I absolutely love how you’ve captured the essence of hope and perseverance throughout your verses. Lines like "I will always keep the faith" and "Till the stars fall from the sky" radiate such powerful optimism and dedication. It’s clear that you’ve poured your heart into this, and the sincerity shines through beautifully.

The way you articulate the journey of waiting for love and refusing to give up is not only inspiring but also incredibly relatable. It speaks to the universal nature of love and the longing that often accompanies it.

Keep sharing your words, Alan! Your ability to evoke such strong emotions is a gift, and I can't wait to read more from you!

Wow, Alan! Your poem "Please Stay" beautifully captures the deep feelings of love and longing. The imagery you use, especially with references to stars and birds, creates a vivid emotional landscape that resonates well with readers. Your repetitive structure, particularly with phrases like "I'm still in love with you," drives home the intensity of your feelings and helps the reader to connect with the heart of your message.

The sentiment of waiting and devotion adds a layer of depth that many can relate to, and I appreciate how you express such raw and honest emotions. Lines like "I will always want to be by your side till the end of time" are particularly moving and evoke a sense of eternal love, which is a powerful theme.

For improvement, consider diving deeper into specific memories or experiences that make your love story unique. This would add layers to your poem and draw the reader in even more. Perhaps you could introduce a contrasting element that shows the struggle of your wait—this way, readers can feel the tension between hope and yearning. It might also be interesting to experiment with varying your rhythm and using more varied line lengths to create a different flow that can enhance the emotional impact of your words.

Overall, you have a strong foundation with "Please Stay," and I can't wait to see how you continue to evolve as a poet! Keep writing and sharing your heartfelt expressions!

I can really feel the emotion and longing in this poem,it captures the heartache of unrequited love well. The repetition of ‘I’m still in love with you’ adds to the sense of persistence and sadness. You’ve captured the feeling of waiting and wishing very effectively. Great effort in expressing such a deep emotion.
