Dreamscape

We slip into the cradle of night's arms,
Beyond our weary, wakeful selves, we go.
Where hopes take flight untouched by worldly harms,
And whispered wants, like drifting petals, flow.

Beneath a veil of stars and silver beams,
We cross to reach a landscape we design,
A portal to a world beyond our dreams,
Where truths and aspirations intertwine.

And when we wake to walk through daylight's door,
The secrets of the stars we're meant to keep.
Unfiltered are the thoughts our dreams explore;
For minds cannot be closed when they're asleep.

May we be armed with wisdom of the night,
And dare to seek a world beyond our sight.

    Powerful ending, Jessica. The audacity to seek a world beyond our sight, beyond our everyday senses of perception, requires of us insight; what is referred to spiritually as discernment.

    Wow Thine's outstanding sonnet takes me back to the 16 th century Shakespeare's age. Searching for beautiful natural lab to fullfill yours colourful dreams is explored with multi uses of ornamented devices like smiling -drifting petals flow, many imageries, and rhythm of words. careful and affectionate cradle arm's night where colourful dreams play freely in mind and foster to fly in indefinite landscape to fulfill. I like the concluding couplet where a child get place of heaven like mother who takes care of the child and children too prefer that beautiful sight where no jeopardy,no stress only overflow of love and tenderness.
    The Poetess has been able to correlate themes of the poem tactfully in three quatrains and conclusion in the concluding couplet.
    I too tried to compose sonnet in Shakespearean Sonnet and in many I could not find out the rhyming words matching first and third lines in every quatrain. But here the poet's efforts is excellent and exceptional as she has very wonderfully expressed selected the rhyming scheme in Shakespearean Sonnet pattern.
    Overall I enjoy the masterpiece, Congratulations Jessica Ma'am.
