The Faces We See

The victim, the villain, the one in a million.
The friend, the foe, the one you were hoping to know.
The misunderstood, the ones that never knew they could.
The silent cries, the truth behind their eyes

A different role for every eye, shaped by truths or twisted lies.
The savior, the heel, what you see is what you will, never knowing what's really real.

Point blank, a melodic mingle of lust and limbo, gone with the wind, nothing left to portray. Confusion cleared up; true colors now on display; an affair to remember, or Jezebel; who's to ever know? Doubted from the beginning, never given a second chance, resurrection not an option, false hope found, washed up on the shores of longing.

The silver lining, blackened by waves of despair; facade crashing down with high tides and violent winds, dragged back to sea, where the story ends, lost in the currents, where fate rescinds.

What if the faces we saw were never real?

This piece weaves mystery and introspection beautifully, blurring the lines between perception and reality. The shifting roles create a sense of fluid identity, making it feel like a puzzle that defies easy answers. The ending leaves a haunting impression,thought-provoking and masterfully written!
