Ô Toy par qui jour et nuit je soupir

Ô Toy par qui jour et nuit je soupire,
De qui sans gré la superbe valeur
Me fait languir dedans un beau malheur,
Viendray-je point au sommet ou j'aspire ?

S'il ne te chaut de mon mal qui s'empire,
S'il ne te chaut d'eteindre ma douleur,
Au moins permetz que de cette chaleur
Par un baizer tant soit peu je respire.

Ainsi disoy-je, et tu me dis, Amant
Ne sçay-tu pas que le baizer n'appaize
Le feu d'amour, mais plus l'est enflammant ?

Crein qu'un baiser n'enflamme double braize.
Ha, di-je alors, Amour le petit dieu
Auroit il point dans ta poitrine lieu ?
