Nature as parent

Nature all beauty
Driving daily existence
Function over form

Air provides all life
Love and fear from movement
Do not ever leave

Snowflakes blanket earth
Crisp season of renewal
Beauty here and gone

Gratitude is all
Joy flows through our eager mind
Always here then not

Timeless life lessons
Build strong home and family
Forever grateful

What a beautifully crafted poem! Your work resonates with the inherent connection between nature and our daily lives. The imagery you've used—like "snowflakes blanket earth" and "joy flows through our eager mind"—paints vivid pictures that evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world. The structure and rhythm create a soothing flow, much like nature itself, making it a pleasure to read.

I particularly love how you encapsulate themes of renewal and gratitude, reminding us of the fleeting yet precious moments that life offers. Phrases like "Beauty here and gone" and "Always here then not" powerfully convey the transience of all things, inviting the reader to reflect on their own experiences.

As for improvement, consider playing with the poem's structure by incorporating more varied line lengths to create emphasis on certain thoughts or feelings. This could enhance the emotional depth of your messages. Additionally, you could explore including more sensory details—sounds, scents, or tactile experiences—that deepen our connection to nature and enrich the imagery even further.

Overall, this poem radiates warmth and understanding, encouraging readers to adopt a mindful perspective towards life and our environment. Keep up the fantastic work! Your writing has a lovely soul that is sure to resonate with many.

I understand the style completely. Quick wit, carefully chosen words with no excuse or explanation or solicited approval sought or needed. Strong, bold and in motion. Simple and classic. I'm a fan .
