Deceit

This pain that is present, something that I don’t want to relive anymore

A heavy weight in my gut, something that is hard to ignore

I think of every scenario, sometimes things that never happen

Even when the truth is being told, I always watch everyone's actions

I feel that there is something more sinister occurring, someone’s being deceptive

But I can’t tell if it’s the individual or my perspective.

There is something untrustworthy.

Explosive! Keep from becoming absorbed...Keep bringing attention to the dismal truths, and know that people need your voice. Regardless all the hardships, never cease telling the truth

That's how the powers that be want us to feel. When you're secure with yourself, you tend to be more trusting of others. At least that's been my experience. I feel this one for sure, as we do all get suspicious from time to time. Don't let it consume you. Have faith in your judgment and make them sweat you not the other way around. Beautiful writing here, Sirena. :-)
