Vita aterena

Vita Aeterna
(Eternal Life)

In moments still, when phones are left behind,
And footsteps echo softly 'neath the sky,
A fleeting sense, as if the world aligned,
And time stood hushed, a gentle sigh.

Not joy nor sorrow, just a tranquil space,
Where life reveals its essence, pure and clear;
A simple knowing, in that quiet place,
That we are here, and now, and dear.

Through sunset hues and whisper of the breeze,
Comes clarity, a gift beyond compare,
In fleeting seconds, where the soul finds ease,
And every worry fades to empty air.

For in these times, so rare and deeply felt,
We grasp a truth that words cannot impart,
A touch of eternity, in moments dwelt,
Where life’s own mystery stirs the heart.
