About this poem

With this "sTrEAM," I am pondering the nature of US—a species that is supposed to organically LOVE one another. Unfortunately, I'm not convinced we're genetically, historically, or socially equipped to do so—not properly anyway. Too much confusion abounds, for all who enter LOVE; WE can't be doing it properly. It should be "forever" easy, right? It's not. Instead, it's just a BeAutiFul StrUggLe - aka: LoVe! And WE lap it up like weary travelers, lost in the vastness of LOVE's stupid dunes, weeks, years, decades lost from our original journey. The pattern is there. And WE rinse & repeat as needed. Partner to partner, occasionally one sticks. Is it real? Will it endure? Is it worth the time I have? (asked by anyone over 35) —Feedback is certainly welcome! **the ABOUT of this sTrEAM is longer than the sTrEAM itself lol.

Good thought for sure; lol love is a thing isn’t it? As a true lover of all things I just let love be exactly what it is and that’s…..love. True enough I give love a choice not from me though, from the other parties! I love, love so I will always be that way! I can’t allow a person to change my perception of love! Why? Because if I love the way I do doesn’t that mean that somewhere in the world there’s someone who loves exactly like me? lol we shall see!!

I like the indication here, "certain relationships" which makes it credible. The poem makes a good point that some might find it true.
