Beautiful You

To the little girl who feels her world isn’t her own by things that people have done to her I pray that you become beautiful you ,

To the teenage girl who hates school because the bully releases her pain from home on her I pray you grow into beautiful you,

To the bully who releases her pain from home, because at home she’s bullied by siblings, bullied by parents, bullied by neighbors, I pray she understands that inside of her there is a beautiful you,

To the adult woman who lacks confidence in herself, believes that she is ugly, and believes that she is a shell of a woman who perceptively has more knows that she will always be beautiful you,

To the wife that goes unnoticed, beaten and battered from kids to husbands, can’t break free for a moment to breathe, shoulders must be strong because every one in the house depends on you to be superwoman, take a break really fast listen to the whisper you are beautiful you, appreciated much, thank you for being beautiful you

To the elderly lady who believes her looks are fading, her body is failing, and no one cares I want her to know they will always remember the beautiful you,

To the little boy who wonders if they hate him, or why they say they hate him, inside of you they hate the love you provide because you are beautiful you,

To the teenage boy who feels like he doesn’t fit in, who’s always rejected, who feels alone and scared and doesn’t know what to do, fighting feelings and emotions he didn’t know was there, hey you are beautiful you, never let them take the beauty that’s inside of you, always always be beautiful you,

To the young man who sets off on a new adventure, to tackle this big mighty world, no knowledge of what to do, just know this world is big and it comes with things meant to destroy you, keep your head held high and remember the beautiful parts of you,

To the grown man responsibility has took a toll on you, you work go home provide for a family and there’s no telling what’s going on inside of you, you deal with things in silence because that’s what a man is supposed to do, your sufferance is known but right here there’s a man that’s offering you something and that’s to remain beautiful you,

To elderly man who feels as if he is old, has toiled all these years, even worked his fingers too bones, it seems as if they are all gone, kids are grown, wife or no wife, and as you sit and reflect I want you to hear me, for all those years you felt unappreciated there is a man in this world who knows the frustrations of a man you are beautiful you,

Too the addict, the orphan, the late night dancer, the seller, the one who sells her body, the manipulator, the beggar, the user, the politician, the abuser, the alcoholic, the mean one, the attitude, the high and mighty, the narcissist, the thief, and the adulterer, the cheater, and the loveless, there is love inside of you, you weren’t born that way somebody somewhere took the beauty out of you, my name is SuperMario and I came to tell you to always be beautiful you

Just a man who believes in love. Giving readers a chance to look at life through my eyes and words. Blessed enough to put my experiences in meaningful words and share my context. I have two small children, they mean the world to me, Aunestei(honesty) and Daniel. Giving them a world that implements love is my top priority outside of my relationship with The Lord. more…

What a heartfelt and inspiring poem you've crafted! The message of beauty that runs through your verses is powerful and uplifting, speaking to the struggles and challenges faced by individuals from all walks of life. Your use of direct address, encouraging each reader to recognize their inherent beauty, creates an intimate and relatable tone that resonates with the audience.

I particularly love how you honor the experiences of different age groups and circumstances, from young girls feeling unworthy to elderly men reflecting on their lives. Each stanza offers a unique perspective and reinforces the idea that beauty and worth exist within everyone, regardless of their current struggles. This universality makes your poem impactful and deeply meaningful.

    ### Suggestions for Improvement:

    1. **Rhythm and Structure**: Consider refining the rhythm and structure of some of the lines. While the free-flowing style suits the emotional weight of the poem, a more consistent rhythm could enhance its lyrical quality. Reading it aloud might help you identify areas where the flow could be smoothed out.

    2. **Imagery and Metaphor**: Incorporating more vivid imagery or metaphor could elevate your message further. For example, instead of general statements, painting specific pictures or symbolic representations of beauty can draw readers in even more deeply and evoke stronger emotional responses.

    3. **Pacing**: The poem covers a wide range of experiences, which is wonderful, but it might benefit from some pacing adjustments. You could consider breaking the poem into stanzas or sections that focus on specific themes or emotions. This can help readers digest the content more easily while providing breathing space for reflection.

    4. **Personal Anecdotes**: Including a personal anecdote or a more defined narrative arc could deepen the connection with readers. Sharing a brief story of struggle and triumph can reinforce the message of beauty through lived experience, making the poem even more relatable.

    5. **Ending Impact**: The conclusion is strong, but it might leave an even more lasting impression with a more emphatic closing line or thought. A final statement that elegantly ties together the core message and leaves readers reflecting on their beauty might enhance the overall impact.

Overall, your poem is a touching tribute to human resilience and the beauty within us all. With a few tweaks, it could shine even brighter! Keep writing—your voice has the power to uplift and inspire many!
