NOT HOME

NOT HOME

Sorry I'm not home, got things I have to do
Devil if you're calling, I ain't got time for you
So leave a message, maybe you'll get through
Because I'm busy sharing the Gospel true

Hey sorry to miss you time sure is rushing past
But only my work for the Kingdom’s gonna last
So many people to reach, going by so very fast
Hey Devil, stop calling, Trumpets gonna blast

Hey brother, guess I missed you yet again
But you know, the work just doesn't end
All I can say is come with me my friend
Oh , Devil, I'm done living in all that sin

Sorry I ain't home, but it's not here at all
My Home awaits, at the Trumpet's call
Hey Devil, we heard about your fall
And in Christ alone we are standing tall

Yeah I'm out here, pointing to His Cross
Hey Devil, I'm not sorry for your loss
I'm out following Christ, and calling to the Lost
And His message is one that'll never pause

Sorry I'm not here, time is running short ..
Amen

About this poem

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” Matthew 9:35-38
