Caps

Caps we all have caps in our possession that we wear
for whatever reason we wear them. The question is,  Do you know why you wear your Cap? Some represent their favorite sports team, others wear their caps as a
part of their uniform that they may conform. Still there are others that wear their caps representing various accomplishments achieved.
That is where I pick up my Caps. A single mother living life rearing my child I took on jobs of employment to provide for mine and my little one's needs.

First as teacher, then nursing assistant just to name a few and a few more jobs is what I chose to do. That my child and I would be provided for I wore those Caps.
The burdens I bore turned into blessings and God helped me through it all. He always seemed to have placed us alongside others that lend a hand up in life to get to the next level.

Thinking back as my child stood proudly during high school graduation, now his life would take  a turn as he came to the fullness of maturation. His Cap standing high atop of his head the first chapter of his life was read. Walking across the stage to receive that diploma
he'd worked so hard the first seventeen years of life.

The next phase began, his Cap switched as he entered the U.S. Armed Services with Uncle Sam as a U.S. military soldier man; no more boy. He took an oath to
defend. to protect and to serve as the Armed Forces took him in and proved he was worthy and did serve.
Proud to serve he did exclaim as his career took flight, height and new meaning. For the next five years he moved here and there, but never a dull moment anywhere.
One tour to Afghanistan then back to the U.S. once again. There were uncertainties along the way then
a phone call away he received an opportunity to return
to Afghanistan as a U.S Administrative contractor and
continue to serve in another land.

I ask again, What Caps do you wear? and Why do you wear your Caps?
