Zacchaeus

Zacchaeus heard about Jesus
Yes O, Zacchaeus heard about Jesus and wanted to meet him
Yes, Zacchaeus wanted to meet Jesus

He overcame the first obstacle by climbing a sycamore tree
Jesus came to the tree
and asked Zacchaeus to come down

Jesus visited Zacchaeus' house
where he threw a lavish party

Detractors condemned Jesus for visiting a sinner
For visiting a sinner
Detractors condemned Jesus
Yes they condemned Jesus
But Jesus didn't mind them

A popular Nigerian gospel song had this lyrics:" never mind them...''

Zacchaeus showed true repentance by giving away half his wealth to the poor.
He also restituted what he had extorted from his countrymen by paying them four times.

Zacchaeus was a tax collector
and a sinner
But repented genuinely

Yes, Zacchaeus repented genuinely

Zacchaeus repented genuinely

Zacchaeus repented genuinely

What about You?

About this poem

Zacchaeus heard about Jesus, and desired to meet him. He climbed a tree because he was a short man. Jesus eventually visited his house. Zacchaeus actually repented, and gave half his wealth to the poor. He also vowed to repay those he cheated four times.
