Aquel pájaro que un día volaba
Aquel ave que sus días gozaba
Hoy es un avion sin una ala
Hoy es una hoja de un árbol sin agua

Su canto evoca tristeza
El lento cantar demuestra dolor
El sonido de su llanto hace que yo mal me sienta
Oh pobre ave, en soledad pereció
