New Life in Progress.....

                  .......Recovering.
Is anybody listening?
I can’t do this alone.
I’m cutting my wrist,
The blood is dripping…
Now it’s all over me.
Nobody would even notice if I left this place.
I lock myself inside these walls,
‘Cause out there,
I’m always wrong.
You thought you were there to guide me…
You were only in my way.
You’re wrong if you think I’ll be just like you.
I’ve seen and been through the worst this life can bring.
I hate you,
I love you,
I don’t know who you are anymore…
Who am I?
I need somebody’s help!
I’ve been searching for so long,
I forgot what I’m looking for.
I’m crying out for help,
But nobody’s listening.
Another day for all the suits and ties,
Just another war to fight.
I can do this on my own,
I don’t need drugs anymore,
           I never really did.
I have reasons to live,
People care about me!
I’m coming out of the darkness…
No more secrets, and no more lies.
Daddy, you can’t leave me now!
I’m not done yet, I just started.
I still need you….
I don’t want to lose another friend.
PLEASE!!
Don’t leave me….
Will you read me another bedtime story?
Mom, please forgive me,
I never meant to hurt you.
I don’t want to go down this dark road anymore!
Please,
Please stay with me…
Hold me,
And promise never to let go.
I’m scared!
But I’ll be okay,
I just need to take baby steps…
