All We Have To FEAR Is...

F - INDING -

We all don’t know as much as we think.
The natural wonders of our world not quite as interesting as our stock portfolios, and what’s on TV.

Every-man has his price, and it’s most likely lower than you think.

Religion was contrived by the needs of the few to control the masses minds. To give them false hope, and their feet to the fire, in a lifetime of hardship and denial.

Newborn babies in the trash. High School kids without any jobs but way too much cash!

It’s something we never had to before. ------“Ourselves”!!!

E - VERY -

Breath we take, calorie we ate, or bus we may have to take.

Prison we have to make. War we have to fake.

Hostage situation. - Years 9/11.
Anthrax dusted letter we open.
Islamic and Muslim organization.
Stinging siren, and blaring horn.

-one else around us on the Subway platform.
-thing we never had to before. ------“Ourselves”!!!

A - NY -

Car we drive. Plane we fly.
Single rogue dictator.
- Other dozens of hostile nations.
- Of their Governments and Citizens.
- Of their supporters or sympathizers, of which could be anywhere at any time.

- Bomb scares and gas mask we may have to ware.
- Nuclear disaster or accident. Total devastation being the preferred and humane answer for it.

-One we never had to before. ------“Ourselves”!!!

R -  EVOLUTION -

For every one around ourselves, we wake with a chance to start over.

For every one the sun brings us another day closer.

Tells us that corrupted governments act as launder for business monies. Both legit and ill-, of course for a fee. Here the fear is the only thing that can be... Because where is the one place to look for the heroes of the next. A very personal place we never had to before. ------within “Ourselves”!!!

All We Have To Fear Is...

...Prostrate, lung, uterine, ovarian, colon, rectal, throat, and brain or breast cancer.

AIDS, Hepatitis, E-coli and the like. Oh yes, the most recent West Nile Virus.

Mad Cow Disease, Genital Herpes, pumping gas in Washington, D.C.!

Global warming, oilfields burning, heaven and hell existing!

Who we love, and what they may say. The rhetorical questions we ask everyday.

The prodigal son that is lost and never found. Look no further here, he’s out about the town. Standing amidst hundreds of geeks, gazing into the night sky judging Orion’s perfect line. No one dares to ask him why...

Hardware, Software, Processor Speeds. When we reinvent the human brain will we have reached a milestone, or might the pressure lessen and we could stop for a moment to breath. Or will this be seen as a starting gun for something so ominous, at present I care not to believe...

Armageddon Asteroids...
Killer Bees...
Supervised regulated population control,
proving Darwin’s Theories...
Next summers newest line - Coppertone SPF 99.9...

Becoming ill or incapacitated...
Your only fear now, is if you can afford to pay for it...

All We Have To Fear Is...

Everything we never had to before. “Ourselves”!!!

Numi

"Numi" is the pen-name I adopted in 2007 after a friend gifted me a copy of The Essential Rumi; by Coleman Barks. After reading some of my works, it was suggested that it reminded them of the works by Rumi. In no way do I align myself with this Great Master Poet, but I do feel a deep connection to his poetry, and the book of Essentials was my constant companion during a 5 year saga, where I was stranded in the Amazon Jungle of Peru, from 2010-2015. more…
