Wings of Gold
Wings of Gold
The crescent moon appears in all its glory as we softly whisper your name, Stars shine like sunbeams echoing through heavenly sky’s, quietly we ponder with heavy hearts but always remember the faces of loved ones departed from there earthly bonds, with tear and a smile we shell remember the deeds and laughter you gave.
Now your time on earth completed but knowing you have traveled to a far greater place than we as mia earthbound souls can only speculate, but forever knowing one day we’ll re-acquaint with God’s grace, in this joyful unknown in which you now dwell.
Your spirit now free from earthly bonds, emerging into a greater being in the eyes of God, with all sins resolved, your free from the fears and tyranny of this world you leave behind, free from the pain of being human as the body returns to dust and the soul is transformed into this greater being, free from expectations and resolve by others.
Now armed with wings of gold set to carry you on this journey, carrying you to all the splendors and unknowns away from being a mortal upon this earth in which you have lived, knowing love will forever follow in your path with all the glory that comes with being free from your earthly bonds.
So, my friend master your wings of gold and fly high on this journey, higher into the spiritual unknown and remember, we as earthbound humans will always carry you in hearts and minds and will remember the day your earthly spirit was released, as crosses of stone will carry your name showing you once lived amongst us.
So, till we meet again on the other side of this crescent moon we send love and remembrance from the time we shared as earthbound brothers,
We wish you happiness on this path you now travel,
Fairwinds and blue skies await you.
Fairwinds and blue skies
