The bay

Valiantstar 1961 (Sydney)

Captain Cook claimed the land.
La Perouse sailed in, then out.

Now on the shore they did explore,
Then went up a shout.

"I don't see any pheasants here, venison or hogs.
There are a lot of strange animals, snakes and nasty dogs."

Cook said to the party,
Tomorrow we'll be gone.

Black fella's on the beach thought,
Good riddens,
whingin poms!
