Proud Reformed Reformers

PROUD REFORMED REFORMERS
ALL:  SONG!!!!!!!!!!......... SONG!!!!!!!......       SONG…………..
(I WAS GLAD VERY GLAD WHEN THEY SAID TO ME, LET US GO TO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD TODAY. THERE WILL BE SINGING THERE WILL SHOUTING, THERE WILL BE VICTORY)….. OOOH WOOOW!!!..... HOW GREAT AD AWESOME IT IS, WHEN BRETHREN DWELL TOGETHER IN UNITY. THERE IS POWER IN COMING TOGETHER LIKE THIS….. DIFFERENT TRIBES, DIFFERENT FACES, DIFFERENT RACES BUT ONE PEOPLE, ONE FAMILY IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. BOR AND BROUGHT UP IN THE REFORMED CHURCH IN ZAMBIA, WE STAND TO BRING OH YES REFORMATION REFORMATION MMMMMHU… TRUE REFORMATION TO OUR FAMILIES, OUR SOCIETY, OUR NATION AND THE WORLD AT LARGE. OUR POEM IS IN TITLED PROUD REFORMED REFORMERS. SO YOUNG BUT UNTOUCHABLE, UNSTOPABLE AND UNSHAKEABLE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. AAAAH… CHECK US OUT.
Oh yes check us out years to come, we will never be where we are today. Because as far as reformation is concerned we are not settling for less and we will never settle for less no matter the matter be matter, whether the weather be weather.
We are called the Reformed Church in Zambia, now the question is, are we and our families reformed as our name?.. Are our characters, our conducts reformed?... or maybe it is just a name. Let us check ourselves as individuals, what is our status in the Lord, what is it that we have done concerning reformation.
The Bible tells us that we shall know them by their fruits. We get to know a mango or lemon or orange tree through the fruits they produce. What type of fruits are you producing in your speech, your dressing and your conduct?...
This world is full of crooked ways and standards. Many Christians have compromised their faith with the standards of this world by conforming to them. They negotiate even when they get involved into sin, they don’t care.
It is a pity seeing many people who claim to be reformed, do things that are contrary to the reformed characters. There is too much pretenses and hypocrisy in the Church of God nowadays. People are not whom they claim to be.
My parents have been bringing me to church every Sunday for Sunday school. My teachers have been teaching me the ways of our Lord in order for me to become a true reformed reformer. It begins with me, my family, the church, our society and the nation to the world at large. In our moves, our conduct, our speech and dressing, we are urged to be reformed.
True reformation is a crucial issue that requires us called by its name to be very much careful as it is not a fancy tag that we may put on today and remove it whenever we want to…. No no no no. It is not like the make-up we put on our face, then when we wash our face it is gone. No no no no. True reformation is whom we should really be as Christians.
Do not just make up your faces, make up your mind to be a proud reformed reformer, one who will preach and bring true reformation in one’s life, family and society at large by living right today, tomorrow and for the rest of our lives.
ALL:   PROUD REFORMED REFORMERS!.. BORN FOR A PURPOSE AND LIVING TO FULFILL DESTINY. WE WILL STOP AT NOTHING, WE WILL PAUSE AT NOTHING UNTILL REFORMATION REFORMATION IS ATTAINED BEGINNING WITH ME, MY FAMILY, MY FELLOWSHIP, THE CHURCH, MY SOCIETY, MY NATION AND THE WORLD AT LARGE.

About this poem

The Church is not the same anymore, so are the societies we come from, hence the need for reformation into the way God created and purposed for our lives. It begins with an individual, then a Family then the society atlarge.
