Opened Wider

My door has always been opened,
Wider than yours.
Observing reality to see it as is,
Has been a blessing of a natural gift.
With a giving this to witness,
I once when young thought everyone had.
As a birthright to receive.
You know...
Eyes to use.
Not permanently glued fixed in one direction.

You say you and I have different personalities.
And to this I agree.
We do.
Yet something to see cemented in concrete,
Should not be dismissed to disbelieve as true.
Just for the reason to disagree with me.
Done for the purpose,
To cause and create disappointing memories.
With time reminiscing B.S. forgotten to forget.

And...
For who is the doing of it beneficial to value.
Anyhow?
Nothing on us lifts like it did when kids.
Neither one of us are virgins on an excursion,
To anticipate the exploring of a known done.
Taking minutes to finish yet holding onto,
A bitterness that makes no sense at all.

Neither you nor me,
I or we.
Can guarantee to anyone,
A lifetime of satisfaction!

Open ears.
Open eyes.
And wisen up!
