THE TEMPEST

through the sultry night
i begged for a puff of breeze
or one drop of rain

my eyes were burning
i was unable to sleep
i tossed and I turned

all of a sudden
lighting flashed in the desert
followed by thunder

come hither o storm
i welcome your destruction
take all that you will

even my body
for I care not if I die
give my poor soul peace

she unleashed her wrath
in magnificent terror
a storm of ages

nothing now remains
but bleak desolation in
the bright morning sun

This is a good poem, and the wished answered was worse than the situation from which release was asked. But the result was taken well.
    Good read!
