Thoughts

Ten more minutes?
Okay.
Let me observe.
Birds singing,
Lawnmower.
Nine minutes left.
Dogs barking,
Kids screaming.
Eight left.
Too many dandelions,
Woah, I'm sweaty.
Seven left.
Wind blowing,
Ice cream truck?
Six.
Nope, just church bells.
Darn.
Five.
I wanted ice cream,
My legs hurt.
Four.
There are rocks in my shoe,
It's getting chilly.
Three.
Ooh, an ant!
Two.
A weedwhacker.
One minute.
Buzz,
A bee.
Forty seconds.
Gotta go inside.
Ooh, a car.
Pretty color.
Is that white or silver?
Champagne?
I don't know.
I don't care.
Twenty-five seconds.
Too many birds.
It's so loud.
But quieter than inside.
I should write this down.
I should focus on myself more.
Fifteen seconds.
I love being outside.
It's calm.
But so overwhelming.
I want a treehouse.
But that would kill a tree.
Nevermind.
Maybe a jungle gym instead?
No, I'm too big.
Five seconds.
I
Love
Being
In
Nature.
Times up.
Ten more minutes?
