American Story

American Story 1959 (Tampa)

Woke up this morning
To try and eat my Bran Flakes
Only to find out
I was almost out of pancakes

Two bowls of Jello
A glass of O.J.
Enough to keep going
'Til the very next day

Ten dollars of food
With so much to do
Lessed than a minute
Who's watching after you

An American story
Only half way through
No time for sittin' around
Lioke there's nothin' to do
