In No Way

In no way,
Are the times we all live these days.
Made easier to stay focused.
On one's faith and religious beliefs.
When the doing is tested,
By hypocrites and naysayers,
Referring to themselves as 'Christians'.
Claiming their loyalty remains steadfast,
To the teachings of biblical scriptures.
And preaching sermons heard.
Delivered to hear...
From ministers, priests and the self anointed,
Chosen ones.
In masquerade to charade,
Their own sins recently committed.
And yet,
These are the same folks hoping...
To provoke others to admit into confessing,
There are times to all that come...
When using a gun to make right,
What to them had been wrong.
Is okay as long as prayer sincerely done,
Has met God's approval.
Especially in one's country,
Where the freedom of speech...
Is an entitlement to interpret,
In action.
Before words are spoken to hear them heard!

'In no one way is that an entitlement.'

Neither is ignorance.
However,
The doing of it is permissible.
Everywhere to observe and witness.
As if...
There had been an amendment,
To The Ten Commandments.
By the Supreme Court.
Insisting this decision made,
Is based upon the correctness of ethics.
And does not reflect,
Personal or political affiliations.

'Is everyone NUTS!?'

No. Not everyone.
Some confess to having allergies.
Me?
I am allergic to some shellfish.
Why do you stare at me like that?
It's not a disease that quickly spreads.

'I'm not so sure.
I have also heard,
Stupidity is not an addiction.
And yet...
People today seem to crave the taste,
Of mental illness to self inflict...
The sensation of it.
Leaving those who are pretentious to claim,
Having not a clue or hint...
How their children became,
People they don't know anymore.
Bringing to themselves shame.
And pointless embarrassment,
To the heritage of their ancestors.
With a carrying of weapons.
And creating appalling juvenile chaos.
When they were raised to be,
Civilized human beings.
Groomed to make good impressions.'
