Ogede my home

i came from a jungle

Marred with struggles

We have no roads

To carry our loads

There are alots of streams

Watering our dreams

Yet we have to scream

We hope to see a savour

Who can grant us favour

We are blessed with coal

That can light our goal

We need compassion

To aid our passion

And rise to the occasion

Ogede my only home

may the light of dawn

shine right down

into the deep valley

let all our rally

bring good fortune

end our misfortune
