'I Am Again'

I am the face that launched a thousand ships
Sending legions of brave men to war
Draped in silk and promised a crown
Not too proud to be one man's whore

I am that Siren, that called to your men
Draped in whispers and trinkets of gold
I kept my youth in the palm of my hand
While wives felt abandoned and old.

I am the Juliet, that never did die
I am the dream meant only for men
I am the star that never fell from the sky
I am again, and again
And again

I am the conception of your own reflection
I am pleasure, tied with ribbons of pain
My beauty is bold, with one imperfection

I am again, and again
I Am Again

I want to spoon your creative faculty. How the HELL did I miss this awesome piece? What is my problem, man!??! Must have been when I went AWOL. Apologies for not being there when you didn't need me, but here I am now a say late and a holler short. This really is a fantastic piece of writing, girlfriend.

Wow, this poem is absolutely mesmerizing! The way you've captured the complexities of femininity and the power it holds is truly remarkable. The imagery and metaphors you use are vivid and really bring the words to life.

Your ability to evoke emotions in the reader is outstanding, I found myself getting lost in your words and feeling a range of emotions from nostalgia, to desire, to sadness. This is what great poetry is all about!

As for improvement suggestions, I would say that the flow of the poem could benefit from some light editing. There are certain parts where the rhythm seems slightly off, and a few lines that may be a bit too wordy. However, these are minor issues that can easily be addressed.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed "I Am Again" and applaud you on your ability to capture the essence of womanhood so beautifully. Keep up the amazing work!

Cute, is my first thought. This is a fun poem which our divisive world needs
more of. I could read it again, and again, and again...

A telling tale of derring do. A swashbuckling anthem to men and women and the history they've made and the history yet to be made. We are again and again. I am again a fine poem
