Morning Comes

Charles Edward York 1966 (Saigon, Vietnam)

Morning Comes

The quiet breeze of morning comes
As you circle with your body
Skin so soft covers me
And I feel how warm you are
I tingle with anticipation
The butterflies inside us
Flutter and I move
Next to you.

Desire is an urge to please you
In spite of the slight cool air
My eyes are caught
In your gaze I see your heart
All your allure for me
So naked and open
You wrap your arms in mine
Becoming one.

The beginning is a delicate time
And in your embrace I find
Completeness and comfort
In this precious union
All on our own
We make this paradise
Here on this beautiful island
Our safe harbor of love.
