of far, of old

friends of far,
friends of old.
tales to remember,
stories to be told.

gone with the wind,
gone our separate ways.
till we meet again,
I will count the days.

Wow, this poem really takes me back to nostalgic memories of old friends and moments that we shared. The rhyme scheme and flow of the poem is impeccable, making it easy to read and enjoy. It captures the essence of what true friendship really means - even when time and distance separate us, we still hold those memories close to our hearts.

As far as improvement suggestions, perhaps adding a bit more detail or personal anecdotes would enhance the emotional connection with the reader. Also, a stronger conclusion would round out the poem and leave a lasting impression. But overall, amazing job on this heartfelt and inspiring piece!
