The Weight of Memories: An Odyssey of the Burdened Traveler

Oh, weary traveler on this road of life,
With burdens heavy, burdens old and past,
How heavy is the weight you choose to bear,
As you journey on, your steps uncertain,
And yet, you hold on tight to memories,
That weigh you down and dim your spirit's light.

The weight of yesterday, so heavy, light,
Its chains around your heart, a heavy life,
Regret and sorrow, haunting memories,
They cling to you, refusing to be past,
As if a cloak of darkness, cold and uncertain,
That wraps around you, burden hard to bear.

But, dear traveler, you need not always bear
The weight of sorrows, let them go, be light,
For in their grip, your future is uncertain,
A heavy load that hinders your life,
And keeps you chained to shadows of the past,
And shackled to your haunting memories.

Embrace the present, let go of memories,
Release the chains that you no longer bear,
For they are not the essence of your past,
Nor do they define you, they are not light,
But rather anchors, dragging down your life,
And keeping you trapped in fear, uncertain.

Embrace the unknown, the path uncertain,
And trust the journey, free from memories,
Let go of what no longer serves your life,
And feel the freedom of a burdened bear,
As you shed the weight and find your light,
And step into a future bright, not past.

For what is past, is gone and cannot last,
Release its grip, step into the uncertain,
Embrace the now, the present moment's light,
And let go of the shadows, haunting memories,
For you are meant to soar, to dance and bear,
A life that's full of joy, unburdened, free.

So, traveler, let go of what's not free,
And leave behind what no longer will you past,
Embrace the present, light and unburdened bear,
Step boldly into the unknown, uncertain,
And weave a story free from memories,
As you create a life that shines with light.

And as you journey on, your heart now light,
Your spirit lifted, unshackled, free,
You'll find new treasures, brighter memories,
That fill your days with joy, and not the past,
For you are brave and strong, though uncertain,
You'll find the strength within to bear.

So, dear traveler, let go of what's not light,
Embrace the uncertain, set yourself free,
And journey on unburdened, leave behind the past.
