Aflame with Adoration: The Treasure of Time

In fields of dreams and castles in the air,
I find myself adrift, consumed by love,
And though my journey seems to lead nowhere,
I'll gladly waste my days with you, my dove,
For time with you is worth more than gold,
And every moment is a treasure to behold.

I know that some may see this as a waste,
To spend my time with you without a goal,
But they don't understand the joy you bring,
The way your smile sets my heart aflame,
And how I'm grateful for the smallest things,
Like the way you say my name.

I'm happy just to sit and talk with you,
To hear about your day and all your dreams,
And though it may seem pointless to some,
To me it's worth much more than it seems,
For in your presence, I am whole and true,
And with you, I am free to be me anew.

There are those who might think me a fool,
For spending my time in such a way,
But they cannot comprehend the power of love,
The way it can lift us up and make us sway,
And though we may not know what the future holds,
We know that love is worth more than all the gold.

For in this moment, I am truly alive,
And all the worries and cares of the world,
Fade away when I'm with you, my love,
And all that matters is the magic we hold,
For in your eyes, I see a universe unfold,
And in your embrace, I find my refuge.

I don't need to know where this love may lead,
For in this moment, it's all I need to breathe,
And though we may not have a destination,
The journey with you is my heart's sensation,
And I'll gladly follow you to the ends of the earth,
For in your arms, I find my sense of worth.

So let us waste our time in each other's company,
For time spent with you is never time wasted,
And though we may not know what the future may hold,
Our love will remain pure, genuine and untainted,
And even if our paths may diverge someday,
My love for you will always find its way.

For in the end, it's not about the destination,
But about the journey we take together,
And in this journey, I have found my soulmate,
A love that will last forever and ever,
So I'll continue to waste my time on you,
For there's nothing in the world I'd rather do.
