The Waves of Ill Content

The ocean pounds the shore
Washing away what was before
Rolling in a lullaby
Crashing down a vicious lie
The stars shine brightly high above
As the clouds rain their love
The candle burns the course of time
While the waves rumble their unspeakable crime
Stirring up the sand so low
Making the black, a bright white glow
But far off in the mist
There is an unsightly twist
Nature thrives beyond this wall
As we wait for it to fall
In the sky, there is no door
Where the angels come through to soar
For they are there high in the sky
Looking down as they fly
Raining down their tears of love
Gliding gently as a dove
They sing a special rhyme
Which makes the oceans roar sublime.
