I shall be free

Shfaa Abbasi 2003 (Sharjah)

Fortune has chosen my side for I will be free
Free like those magnificent birds in the sky
Flying as close to the sun as they might
Or as gleeful as young children, in cradles they lie
I will break out of your hold, out of your horrendous sight
Soon my woes shall be distant, and I shall be free.
Soon, the world will know of me
