The Tears of the Sky

How long has the heart of the sky been broken?
Pent up sadness that has never been
spoken

Thundering.
Anger.
Hailing punishments
Pouring sadness
I wonder who is to blame?
When all these forecasts are clearly
signs of pain.

The rain is the tears that the sky is pouring
While we're unbothered in our beds snoring.
We find comfort in the sadness of the sky, but the reason for its sadness we deny.

It's obvious you'll cry when your loved one is drying.
So why do we rejoice when the world is crying?

About this poem

this poem was born by the sudden interest in the rain falling from the sky on a Thursday morning on the way school. This poem represents the hidden feelings that the world is trying to express, but we as humans are too naive to realize them.
