Separation

  A sad little face, saying wipe your
   tears.
   Mama is gone and Gma’s not
   here.
   There’s no kids to play with
   it’s sad but it’s true.
   It’s just me and Mommy
   who’s broken in two.
   The life I was born to was
   suddenly changed.
   The people I turned to
   all re-arranged.
   I’m not even three yet,
   I can’t  understand,
   how can this be so far from
    all that was planned.
