Life

Life is a precious gift,
A fleeting moment in time.
So why waste it away,
And let it slip out of line?

Each day is a new chance,
To live, to love, to learn.
So seize it with both hands,
Embrace it, and take your turn.

There's so much to explore,
In this world that we share.
From the mountains so high
To the oceans so rare.

You'll meet people along the way,
Who'll touch your heart and soul.
They'll bring you laughter and tears,
And make you feel whole.

Don't let fear hold you back,
From taking a leap of faith.
It's the moments that scare us,
That we remember in our last days.

So cherish every moment,
And never let it go to waste.
For life is a beautiful journey,
And you must live it to the fullest, with grace.

Liana Yuditt Diaz (Qbana80)

Born in Havana Cuba and raised in the USA, writing poetry has been my passion for as long as I can remember. At the tender age of eight, I discovered the power of words and the magic they can create when woven together in just the right way. From that moment on, I knew that writing poetry was something that I would love to do for the rest of my life. Through the years, I have honed my craft, learning more about the intricacies of language and expression with each new piece I write. I find inspiration in everything around me, from the vibrant colors of a sunset to the sound of birds chirping in the morning. These small details of everyday life are what fuel my creativity and drive me to keep writing. But more than anything, it is the emotional connection that I make with my readers that gives my work meaning. Crafting a poem that touches someone's heart or speaks to their soul is one of the greatest blessings I could ever ask for. It is my hope that through my writing, I can bring a little more beauty, joy, and inspiration into the world. more…
